Focussed on purity, the KG320 features striking lines, smooth curves and is encased in luxurious black metal. Its keyboard’s ergonomics have been studied to allow easy navigation, thanks to its large buttons and central button.

The shutter has two narrow slits, so it won’t muffle the sound coming out from the speakerphone located right under it, when it is slid open. Quite good solution, especially taking account of the fact that all ring tones and songs are spread via the loudspeaker located on the phone’s rear. Comparing the K320 with Nokia 6230i, LG’s device tops in this face-off owing to higher volume and better low frequencies, though yields to Motorola E398. The camera’s module is edged with a ring made of silver plastic. A tiny mirror, which appears to be a decorative detail rather something of much use, and a LED flash are placed to the right of the camera’s lens.

he white backlit keypad takes up almost half of the real estate on the front of the phone, with the 5-way navigational keypad, flanked by the right and left soft keys along with the call and end keys, situated just below the screen. The numerical keypad is large and very easy to press. When the phone is in its power saver mode, the keypad light will not come on at all, which proved to be pretty annoying, as there is no way to turn on the keypad backlight in this mode. This made the power saver mode pretty worthless, since you can’t use it in the dark.

The camera can take photographs up to 1280 x 960 in size & the camera comes with four operating settings. The user can change photograph setting & effects easily & even use the nine times continuous shot feature to ensure the perfect photograph is taken. The user can record & play video in MPEG4 file format. The video feature comes with video effects & setting to ensure the perfect recording in gained every time a recording is made by the user. LG B2100

Dimensions: 103 x 43 x 16 mm
Weight: 73 g
Display: Pixel 128×128 Size(mm) 28×28

Price Range:

Weighing only 74 grams including the standard battery and being only 15.9 mm thick (13.1 mm at the thinnest part), the B2100 takes little space and won’t add any unnecessary weight to your pocket or bag. Take pictures with the built-in VGA digital camera.  4x digital zoom and timer function.  Have fun by choosing from a variety of frames you can add when taking pictures.Pictures taken can be set as wallpaper on your phone.

The aesthetics weren’t the only gripes we had with the phone. Take SMS messaging. When you receive a new incoming message, all you see is a small message icon on the display, and not a popup notification box of any kind. There is also no instant access to the new text. Furthermore, inbox messages are not sorted by date, so you need to scroll through the SMS list to the new SMS, a feature we found rather silly. When typing a message, unlike most mobiles where you can hold onto a button for a short while to input a solitary digit in predictive text mode, you will have to scroll for it as well on the LG. In addition, text inputting and word switching are painstakingly slow.

LG strives for varying its model line as much as possible. Reasoning from this, many devices are manufactured on the base of the old platform. The LG B2100 is one of them; this is a successor of the LG B2000 different in the presence of an integrated camera and lacking FM-radio. It’s a typical 100-150 USD segment device with a thin design that is getting so popular among all the manufacturers now. An important moment concerning the B-series by LG is replacing the models manufactured by third companies with own ones.
