The L343i is the first LG mobile phone that supports i-mode, the new mobile Internet service that grants you fast access to a huge range of specifically designed websites for your phone. i-mode also let’s you send and receive i-mail and MMS messages very quickly and with ease. As well as i-mode, the L343i also boasts a camera, dual colour screens and small, clamshell form factor.

The L343i has a built in digital camera. Take photos of your friends and family and use them for Photo Caller ID. When you receive a call from someone in your phonebook, a photo will appear so you can easily tell who it is! Take photos up to 640×480 in size. Flash 4 X digital zoom. 9-time continuous shooting feature. Take and send photo messages to friends and family via MMS (compatible phone required). Store photos in the L343i’s photo album.

The LG L343i is a clamshell, entry level i-mode handset with a 300K pixel camera. There’s no video and no mp3 support (MFI, SMAF, MIDI and AMR only), but it will have bluetooth and the latest version of the Access CNF+ browser for advanced i-mode® browsing.

The user can create & send messages from their phone quickly & simply. The messaging services can be found from the phones main menu & allows the user to send & receive a variety of messages which include text messaging, multimedia messaging, enhanced messaging & i-mail. The multimedia message service (MMS) allows the user to create a message complete with text, photo & sound. The user can store their messages, edit their messages, delete & forward messages easily using the LG L343i. The user can send a multimedia message & i-mail in an instant. The phone does not need any settings to start these services & the user can start sending & receiving multimedia messages & i-mails instantly.
